Welcome to Mrs. Eason's home page
Learning Center
All kids need to come to class prepared to do work. They need books,
notebooks, calculator, pens and pencils and planners. Students need to use
planners in each class to write down all assignments.
We will work each week on creating study schedules to review assignments,
study for tests and begin work on projects. Students should come to class
with the expectation to complete all work for every class on time.
Foundations of Reading and Writing
We will focus on note taking skills and study skills for upcoming tests.
Be sure to come to class with all books with highlighters and content area
reading. If you have vocab to review be sure to bring it to class.
Writing assignments will be graded for a content area classes.
Freshmen- Journal entry for English due every two weeks. Topics are given
in class.
History-Interactive notebook to be kept.
Students will be expected to write an essay about short stories read
including topics such as: main themes, conflicts between characters, main events in
story and author's purpose.
Sophomores
History - Taking a critical stance on whether or not to drill in Alaska
for oil.
Do notes for Biology for book quiz.
Start reading short stories to discuss authors purpose.
Juniors English AC -Start reading Crucible.
History - Extra credit history project.
Seniors Humanities work on Humanites first update. Meet with mentor.
Write your thesis statement. Find two sources for your topic. Pick a Humanities questions to address in
your project.
