We are working on multiplication of decimals.
Next Tuesday, there will be a quiz on this portion of the book.
Foundations for Algebra
We have moved into the fourth investigation
of Covering and Surrounding. Students are now studying parallelograms. Next week there will be a quiz on Tuesday and we will move on to our study of circles.
There are two math classes: Pre-Algebra and Foundations for Algebra. The differences between the two include one additional book taught in Pre-Algebra and the pace of instruction is faster in Pre-Algebra. Students are placed in the class that best meets their learning needs based on a set criteria, which includes standardized testing results and past teacher recommendations.
