What does a School Counselor do?
As the School Counselor my role is working with every child in grades 5 & 6.
In addition, small groups are periodically held to discuss friendship, appropriate behavior, and any other specific topics the children might need.
What is Character?
Good character includes respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, citizenship, fairness, self-control, caring, and perseverance. Character Education is the process in which students learn about good character qualities. Students have an understanding of good character; students care about having good character; and students learn to choose to act upon good character traits.
